Aspire to Enterprise

Social Firms Scotland and Aspire to Enterprise are co-hosting this event to enable social enterprises and Social Firms within the Grampian Region to access directly, where appropriate, the new ‘Aspire to Enterprise’ programme which offers a range of business support services to ambitious, developing social enterprises in central and lowland Scotland. The programme offers access to development support to organisations with the drive and potential to increase their trading activity to become more sustainable enterprises.

The programme is open and will accept applications from organisations that:

• Meet the government criteria for social enterprise
  
• Are already trading
  
• Have a minimum total turnover of £60k and an approximate maximum of £600K
  
• Can benefit from tailored development assistance prior to accessing mainstream support.

The format for the session will include a brief presentation and background to the programme, Q & A’s session followed by the opportunity to meet with on a ‘one to one’ basis with Aspire to Enterprise personnel who will assist with applications to the programme.
