Regional Forums - Highland

This Forum covers the Highland Council area, but interested parties from neighbouring areas are very welcome.

Highland Forum meetings are held across the region and are often hosted by a community recycling organisation so the meetings will include a site visit and lunch. Hosts have included GREAN in Golspie, Blythswood in Evanton and New Start Highland in Inverness.

In addition to updates from CRNS, Highland Council, SEPA and all in attendance previous meetings have included presentations from:

  • Changeworks about their Generous Scotland programme
  • Per Fischer, CRNS Web and Communications Manager, about Web Design and eTrading
  • Cllr Hamish Wood on the Senior Executive Programme of Scottish Business in the Community
  • Andrew Anderson of HIE on the Big Lottery Fund's Growing Community Assets programme
  • Emily Forbes of Project Scotland on volunteer placements
  • Ron Gilchrist, Doug Boyle and Niall Flynn on the subject of in-vessel composting

Please contact David Bryan to find out more about this Forum.
