The CRNS Objectives are:

•    To provide a range of quality services to Members and potential Members

•    To promote and represent the community recycling sector – regionally, nationally and internationally

•    To foster partnerships and networking between and by the community recycling sector

•    To ensure that the CRNS and the community recycling sector becomes sustainable

Activities and Support Services

In order to achieve the above objectives the CRNS provides a range of activities and support services.The core activities of the CRNS include:

• production of a quarterly newsletter, Towards Zero
• a weekly members eNews bulletin

• various events and seminars
• information and publications
• the Open Doors Programme
• the facilitation of regional community recycling forums
• development support for member organisations
• representation of the sector
  
• promotion of the sector, the CRNS members and their services
• undertake specific projects as required
