
Free Fundraising TrainingOctober 12, 2009 Free Fundraising Training for Green and Environmental Organisations Glasgow & Clyde Valley Green Network Partnership are piloting unique approaches to developing the fundraising and income generation skills of community and third sector green and environmentally focused organisations throughout the Glasgow metropolitan Region. Commencing in late November 2009 training is delivered over three consecutive days. At the end of the course participants will have completed and submitted at least two actual applications and developed all the necessary skills to increase their fundraising and income generation success rates. This highly practical course covers everything from identifying and applying to potential funding sources, government programmes, trusts, corporate and high value individual donors through to running public appeals and developing effective sustainability programmes. Training is available to any organisation working in the green and environmental fields from delivering community based grow your own initiatives to larger scale projects protecting or developing new wild life habitats, public open spaces, green jobs training and everything in-between. Organisations must be based or active in one of the following local authority areas; East & West Dunbartonshire, North and South Lanarkshire, Glasgow City, Inverclyde, Renfrewsire and East Renfrewshire.
