
CRNS to screen 'Addicted to Plastic' at film festivalSeptember 8, 2009
The screening aims to raise awareness and support for the great work the CRNS members do in tackling waste and poverty in their communities. Addicted to Plastic takes us on a global journey to discover the waste legacy we are creating and the men and women dedicated to cleaning it up. After the film the audience will have the chance to meet their Scottish equivalents. Hearing from CRNS members on how they are working innovatively in their communities to come up with creative solutions to our throw away society. By providing essential resources, creating jobs and opportunities CRNS members provide solutions to the waste, poverty and climate change challenges we face today. An audience is invited to take this chance to meet its local social and environmental innovators and find out how to get involved with their community recycling organisations.
