Composting Association rebrand to Association for Organics RecyclingAugust 1, 2008
The announcement on their new website says: "This change reflects our response to, and evolution of, the changing nature of waste management and reinforces our role as the leading UK organisation in raising awareness of the benefits of recycling biodegradable resources." Jeremy Jacobs, acting AFOR Chief Executive, told letsrecycle.com: "We had to change our image to broaden our appeal. It's not just about compost. "The biggest issue is regulation.
