First food waste collection from high-rise flats

The official launch event of Scotland's first food waste collection from high-rise flats takes place on 9 August at the Kingsway Flats, Scotstoun.

This trial is funded principally by the Scottish Government, is the only trial providing a service to flats and is being delivered by Dumbarton Road Corridor Environment Trust.

The actual collections of food waste is due to commence in a few weeks.
