Real Nappy Week 2008April 24, 2008
Over the course of the week long campaign awareness raising events throughout Scotland will highlight the benefits of using real nappies. Modern real nappies are very practical and offer parents and parents to be an alternative to disposable nappies. Using real nappies can bring real savings, not just for your purse but also for the environment:
Helen Brown, CRNS Real Nappy Coordinator for Scotland said: “There is now such a range that parents can choose real nappies to suit their own personal style. With the new easy-to-use designs, real nappies provide the performance parents demand while giving them a chance to save money and save waste at the same time. "Parents-to-be can now ask their midwife and health visitor to see the Real Nappy Resource Pack, containing labelled Real Nappy samples and receive an information booklet in ante and postnatal education to help them make informed choices about which nappy system to use on their baby.” Using real nappies is as easy as ABC! But don’t just take our word for it; discover everything you need to know about using washable real nappies at the Glasgow Baby Show. Come along to the Midwives and Health Visitors stand (431C) at the Glasgow Baby Show, SECC on 25th–27th April 2008, 10–5pm and enter the competition to win Real Nappy trial Packs.
