CRNS WEEE briefing event

Over 60 delegates gathered at Lambs House in Edinburgh on Wednesday 31 January to discuss how WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), which is due to come into force in July 2007, would impact on the sector.

The presentations focused on changes in legislation and regulation, how the WEEE Directive will be implemented in practice, opportunities, and how CRNS and FRN can support the sector.

The speakers were Craig Anderson, Development Manager, FRN, Charles Stuart Roper, Head of Waste Regulation, Scottish Executive, John Patterson, Development Manager, City of Edinburgh Council and Colin Clark, Specialist II, SEPA.
