Consistent with ambitions of the previous four years the CRNS will, over the period 2008-11, continue to provide accessible support, networking opportunities and access to investment to further develop the scope of the community recycling sector in Scotland. The targeted outcome of these activities will be an increased impact of the sector in terms of environmental, social and economic benefits. Working with others including the Scottish Government and all 32 local authorities the CRNS will support and develop community recycling within the ambition of a Zero Waste Scotland which is underpinned by the five key Government objectives of a Greener, Smarter, Wealthier & Fairer, Healthier and Safer & Stronger Scotland.
